I stopped driving and sold my car. I stopped shopping. I stopped spending money foolishly and so far, my savings have increased, I’m getting closer to owning my own place and I’ve flown out every month in 2017.
Who cares if I’m seen in a nice car. Who cares if people rate the brands I’m wearing. Who cares who sees how much money I spend. I don’t. I don’t even associate with people who think like this anymore.
There’s more to life than staying still but materially consuming for the advantage of being seen. I refuse to get to my death bed and not see this world with my love.
